Tokoyami felt bad for his soulmate... constantly having to endure the bruises and pain he felt.
Yet, he could never tell whether they were his or not. Bright red marks appeared that he had no recollection of gaining.
The moment he knew his soulmate might be in danger was when a dark burn mark appeared on his face.
He was worried yet had no way to contact his soulmate. So he sat and cried concerned tears for his future partner.
