Todoroki wanted to get out of the hospital as soon as possible. Literally anything would have been better than sitting here with the scent of hand sanitiser and medicine washing over him. Todoroki hated hospitals, call it childhood trauma but nothing about them was in any way comforting.

Even less comforting was the fact that Kaminari had pogo-sticked himself out of a three storey building in an attempt to do something Todoroki can't even remember the details of.

"Hey, Todoroki." Iida called down the hallway as he walked to sit next to him. Brushing his thumb against Todoroki's in a soothing motion while moving to grab his hand, Iida tried to comfort Todoroki.

"Hey Iida, he's an idiot isn't he." Todoroki sighed with a small smile.

"Yeah, but he's our idiot." Tenya grinned.

"You can come and see him now." A nurse told them.

They walked in to see Kaminari smiling at them, "Okay so since I almost died-" he started.

"You did not almost die." Iida told him.

"Whatever, so my life was flashing before my eyes… that time I blew out the electricity for the whole street when I was three, my acceptance into UA, my first day at UA, our first date, that time Todoroki looked like a fish, just yesterday. Good times. Well anyway, from my near death experience I realised that life is short and you're only gonna get to live it once. So, I think we should call each other by our first names." Kaminari expressed.

"That entire dialouge just to lead up to that." Todoroki questioned.

"Well, yeah." Kaminari said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Why were you thinking about me looking like a fish?" Todoroki asked, confused.

"Because it was literally the funniest day of my life and a lot of good memories happened that day. It was also the day I realised how much I love you both." Kaminari answered.

Todoroki smiled as Iida sputtered, turning red at the admission.

Iida turned to Kaminari after he composed himself, "I think what Todoroki meant earlier before he got sidetracked by the fish thing is that you didn't have to make such a big deal out of us moving to call each other by our first names. I'll go first, both of you please call me Tenya."

"Okay Tenya, call me Denki. And you too Todo." Kaminari smiled.

"Allright, my first name's Shouto… please use it, both of you." Todoroki told them.

Kaminari started laughing, not at Shouto but out of relief. "I just really love you guys." He said.
